Several months ago I came across an article in the Pheasants Forever Website, challenging those of us who have rare bird dogs to tell us about them. Why we have them and what do we love about them. I jumped right in, with a quick statement and pic or two - and was thrilled when I received a call back asking if I would participate as one of the 12 breeds chosen to be featured in their Summer issue article called "“Breeds Apart”.
